Next Gen Mapping Tech in Tennessee

Petroleum prospecting could see a revival in Tennessee with widespread adoption of the latest geological mapping software, predict leaders of the Tennessee Oil and Gas Association.

Although the group’s Annual Meeting, originally scheduled for May 10-11 in Frankfort, was cancelled, TOGA members can still access a knowledge base of information about how free software is used to unlock the vaults of geologic information maintained by the state, reports Gary Bible, TOGA chairman.

The group also announced that following the departure of long-time operations manager, Roxanne Reiley, the association’s admin and communications activities have shifted to Weller Law.
