Next Gen Mapping Tech in Kentucky

Petroleum prospecting could see a revival in Kentucky with widespread adoption of the latest geological mapping software, predict leaders of the Kentucky Oil and Gas Association.

Although the group’s Annual Meeting, originally scheduled for May 10-11 in Frankfort, was cancelled, KOGA members can still access a knowledge base of information about how free software is used to unlock the vaults of geologic information maintained by the state, reports Gary Bible, KOGA chairman.

The group also announced that following the departure of long-time operations manager, Roxanne Reiley, the association’s admin and communications activities have shifted to Weller Law.
